Fiberglass Fabrics

Fiberglass Fabrics

Fiberglass fabrics are made of fiberglass bulk yarn which is texturized or volumized from fiberglass roving yarn by high pressure air. The key benefits that fiberglass fabrics offer are its strength-to-weight ratio, making it twice as strong as steel wire, high temperature resistance (up to 550C/1022F), low thermal conductivity coefficient (<0.035Keal/M.H.C), anti-corrosion, and high dust-accommodation and high filterability. It also is not harmful to the human body, which makes it an excellent replacement for asbestos products.

E-Glass filament fabrics is another structure that is commonly used in different kinds of finishing treatments. Implementing different kinds of weave structures, the surfaces of these fabrics appear more smooth and shiny, but also with the same beneficial properties that fiberglass fabrics provide.

For some products, the yarn can optionally be reinforced with stainless steel wire to further enhance its tensile strength.
